Walk, Wheel, or Bus It to Valley Parade and Win a Bradford City Season Ticket!
If you're a Bradford City fan, here's a reason to leave the car at home on a matchday: you could win your 2026/27 season ticket simply by travelling to home games sustainably.
Bradford City AFC, the Bradford City FC Community Foundation, and BetterPoints West Yorkshire have teamed up on an exciting new initiative that rewards Bantams supporters for making greener travel choices on their way to Valley Parade.
How Does It Work?
It's simple. Every time you walk, wheel, cycle, or take public transport to a Bradford City home game and record your journey using the free BetterPoints app, you earn one entry into a prize draw. The more matches you attend by active or sustainable travel, the more chances you have to win.
If you've already purchased your 2026/27 season ticket and your name is drawn, you'll receive a full refund of the adult season ticket price. Either way, you win.
Why It Matters
The initiative is part of Bradford City's Greener Bantams commitment and the club's drive to make matchdays more sustainable for supporters and the wider community.
Adam Keizer, sustainability lead at Bradford City, said: "BetterPoints is a fantastic way to reward our supporters who use public transport or active travel as part of their journey. It aligns with our Greener Bantams commitment to sustainable matchdays and we're excited to offer Bradford City supporters the chance to win your season ticket as an incentive to get involved."
Lizzie Saunderson-Trowell, Chief Operating Officer at Bradford City FC Community Foundation, added: "BetterPoints is a fantastic way to introduce sustainable, measurable, and impactful changes to the thousands of people who attend games every weekend."
More Than Just a Prize Draw
Of course, the season ticket prize draw is just the beginning. Every journey you log on BetterPoints earns you points and BetterTickets that you can:
- Redeem for vouchers with local and national high street businesses
- Spend at local independent businesses across West Yorkshire
- Donate to a charity of your choice
BetterPoints West Yorkshire launched in January 2026 and is open to anyone who lives, works, or studies in Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds, or Wakefield. So whether you're heading to Valley Parade from across the city or further afield in the region, your journey counts.
Get Involved
The BetterPoints team were at Valley Parade for Bradford City's match against Peterborough on 14 February, the club's very first Greener Bantams Day. But there are plenty more home games left in the season to rack up those entries.
Jack Windle, Chief Transport Officer at BetterPoints, said: "It's brilliant to see Bradford City AFC and their Community Foundation getting behind BetterPoints in such a positive way."
